This is a film about a year in the life of a traditional Navajo family living in Arizona's Canyon de Chelly. Focusing on the family's charismatic patriarch, the film follows the simple, earthy rhythms of Navajo life: ceremonies, extended family celebrations, weaving, farming - all taking place in the spectacular Four Corners area of the Navajo Reservation.
